What this tool does
Full Scientific Keypad
Sin, cos, tan, natural and base-10 logs, e^x, absolute value, square root and π — each key inserts the function into the expression box.
Graphs What You Type
Enter a scientific expression and the curve is plotted immediately, so you can see the shape of a trig or log function rather than only its value.
Table of Values
Generate a table for the current expression when you need the numbers as well as the shape.
Export as SVG
Save the plotted curve as a scalable SVG file for a report, a slide or a printed worksheet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the log key mean base 10 or natural log?
The log key is base 10, matching the TI-84, and the ln key is the natural logarithm. Both plot as curves so you can see where each function is defined.
What angle unit does the trig use?
Radians, which is the default on the graphing calculator. Write the angle in radians — for example sin(x) — and read values off the curve or the table.
Does it handle complex numbers?
No. This tool graphs real-valued functions of a real variable. Expressions that leave the real line, such as sqrt(x) for negative x, are simply left blank on the graph.
Is this free?
Yes — no sign-up, no download.
