The short version: this site does not collect personal data, because there is nothing here that needs it.

Your calculations never leave your browser

Everything the calculator does — evaluating expressions, plotting curves, generating tables, working through a solution — happens locally on your device. There is no server component for the arithmetic. What you type is not transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere.

No accounts

There is no registration, no login, and no user database. There is no identifier attached to you, because none was ever created.

No cookies

The site sets no cookies. The single piece of data retained on your device is your light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to any server and is deleted if you clear your site data.

No analytics

There is no analytics script — not Google Analytics, not a privacy-friendly alternative, not a first-party page counter. Aggregate traffic is estimated from server logs at the hosting provider, which record IP addresses and request paths for operational purposes and are not correlated with individuals.

The email list — the one place data is collected

If you choose to subscribe to release updates, your email address is stored on this site's own server — no third-party form service, no tracking pixel, no profile attached to you. It is used for one thing: sending an email when new tools ship. Unsubscribing deletes the address from the list. Refusing to subscribe costs you nothing and changes nothing else about how the site treats you.

No third-party requests

The pages load no scripts, fonts or images from third-party domains. Fonts are self-hosted. This is deliberate: it means visiting this site does not tell anyone else that you did.

Hosting

The site is hosted on infrastructure that processes standard request logs. Those logs exist for security and uptime purposes, are retained for a short period, and are not sold or shared.

When the calculator is embedded elsewhere

If you use the calculator inside another site's iframe, your browser connects to this domain to fetch the tool. The same rules apply: your inputs are not transmitted back. The embedding site's own privacy policy covers whatever that site does.

Children

The site collects no data by default. If you join the optional email list, that list is intended for adults managing their own subscriptions; no child-directed collection happens here and nothing else on the site captures visitor information.

Changes

If the architecture ever changes such that data collection begins, this policy will be updated before that happens, and the change will be stated plainly at the top rather than buried.
