Why This One

Most graphing calculators stop at the answer

You already know what a curve looks like. What you usually need is the reasoning that produced it — so this tool shows the steps, uses the keypad layout from your classroom, and never asks you to sign up.

Step-by-Step Solver

Quadratics, linear equations, two-variable systems and derivatives are worked through line by line, so you can check your method rather than copy a number.

The Real TI-84 Keypad

The layout matches the handheld device, so the muscle memory you built in class transfers straight into the browser.

Polar & Parametric

Switch to polar to plot r = f(θ), or parametric to plot x(t) and y(t) together, from the same toolbar.

Table & Coordinates

Generate a table of values, zoom into any window, and hover the curve to read exact coordinates at any point.

Nothing to Install

It runs entirely in your browser, so it works on a Chromebook, a locked-down school laptop or a phone with no app store access.

Export as SVG

Save the graph as a scalable SVG file, or read the values straight from the table into your homework document.

Side by Side

How it compares

Every option below is genuinely free. The difference is what you can do once you are inside — and whether it explains itself.

Features are based on each vendor’s own documentation as of October 2026. “TI-84 Plus™ keypad” means a faithful on-screen layout of the handheld device. No claim here should be read as exam approval — only Texas Instruments’ own hardware carries that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this graphing calculator free?

Yes — every feature is free with no account, no trial and no paywall. There is no premium tier hiding the graphing tools behind a subscription.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs entirely in your browser, so it works on a Chromebook, a locked-down school laptop or a phone with no app store access. Nothing is downloaded and no account is created.

How is this different from Desmos?

Desmos is an excellent plotter and it does matrices, regression and 3D. What it does not give you is the TI-84 Plus™ keypad layout or the step-by-step working behind an equation. This tool pairs a faithful keypad with a step solver that shows the reasoning.

Does it show step-by-step solutions?

Yes — the step solver works through quadratics, linear equations, two-variable systems and derivatives, showing the reasoning rather than only a final number.

Can it graph inequalities or matrices?

No. This tool graphs functions, polar equations and parametric equations. Inequality shading, matrices and statistical regression are not part of it — Desmos and GeoGebra both cover those well.

Is this an official Texas Instruments product?

No. This is an independent, third-party tool. TI-84 Plus™ is a trademark of Texas Instruments Incorporated, which does not endorse, sponsor or authorise this site.
