Comparison
A GeoGebra alternative built around worked steps
GeoGebra is a remarkably broad open-source mathematics suite, and for dynamic geometry it has no real rival here. This tool is deliberately narrower — and that focus is the point.
Where GeoGebra Is Stronger
Breadth this tool does not attempt
GeoGebra covers dynamic geometry, constructions, calculus, 3D surfaces, spreadsheets and a computer algebra system, all in one suite. If you need to drag a point and watch an entire dependent construction update, nothing else in this comparison does that.
It is also open source with a very large activity library, so teachers can find prepared materials for almost any topic.
Where This Tool Is Different
Two specific gaps
It explains itself. Every result carries the reasoning that produced it. GeoGebra's CAS can give you a derivative, but it does not generally show the steps between the question and that answer.
It uses the TI-84 keypad. If your course issues a TI-84, the on-screen layout matches what your hands already know. GeoGebra's interface is powerful but it is its own thing, and there is no muscle memory to lean on.
